    STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) - A Sterling Heights mother of two is being detained by immigration officials, and is set for deportation. She was hauled away in handcuffs, taken into custody right in front of her nine-year-old daughter.

    Vesna Djokic has been locked in a cell at an immigration detention center for the last eight months. After immigration agents failed to get her on a flight back to Montenegro. Video shows agents strapping Djokic into a wheelchair as they tried to force her onto a plane. But she was so distraught that after two attempts they gave up on trying to get her on the commercial flight, and locked her up instead. She has not been allowed to see her family, and we're told she's gone on a hunger strike.

    "It's really hard for us, since we don't have a mom we haven't received as much love as other kids," Djokic's 13-year-old son, Marcus, told Fox 2. "I miss her so much and I can't wait until she comes home. I love her with all my heart" said daughter Isabella.

    Djokic came to America 17 years ago from the former Yugoslavia. She filed for political asylum, but there was a problem with her paperwork. Djokic tried to fight it, but lost.

    Her attorney has filed a motion for immediate release based on humanitarian grounds. A decision is expected in the coming weeks. "I think the right option is to release her to her family pending her husband gaining his status, which is imminent."

    Good! It is nice to know an illegal alien and offspring's lives suck more than the few Americans who's lives that don't. Because of illegal aliens! And their anchor brats!
