Uniontown police referred two illegal aliens from Mexico to federal authorities Wednesday after the Chinese restaurant owner who fired the men said they became combative and requested money from her.
The men, whose names and ages were not available, were turned over to the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services bureau in Pittsburgh. A spokesperson for the bureau was not available for comment yesterday.

Police responded to a North Beeson Boulevard bus stop at 4:18 a.m. after Xiu Yu Dong-Wang tripped and struck her head when trying to run from the two men. She drove the men to the station so they could get a bus to Atlanta, according to an incident report.

She declined to press charges.

Uniontown Police Chief Kyle Sneddon said any possible investigation of the Mexicans' employment at the South Union Township restaurant would in the jurisdiction of the federal government.
