    Muslim AWOL US soldier caught with bomb making materials

    FBI: Bomb-making materials found in motel room of AWOL soldier arrested near Texas’ Fort Hood

    KILLEEN, Texas — An AWOL Muslim soldier who had been granted conscientious objector status earlier this year was arrested and bomb-making materials were found in his motel room near Fort Hood, the same Texas Army post where 13 people were killed in a 2009 shooting rampage blamed on an Army psychiatrist, an FBI spokesman said Thursday.

    Killeen police arrested Pfc. Naser Abdo, 21, on Wednesday and agents found firearms and “items that could be identified as bomb-making components, including gunpowder,â€

    I heard this story on KRLD radio in Dallas, Texas this morning and there was no mention of them being muslim, but that was my first thought.

    KILLEEN, Texas — An AWOL soldier who had weapons stashed in a motel room near Fort Hood admitted planning an attack on the Texas post, where 13 people died in 2009 in the worst mass shooting ever on a U.S. military installation, the Army said in an alert issued Thursday.

    Pfc. Naser Abdo, a 21-year-old soldier who was granted conscientious objector status this year after he said his Muslim beliefs prevented him from fighting, was arrested Wednesday. Agents found firearms and “items that could be identified as bomb-making components, including gunpowder,â€

    Why would anyone who's religion prohibits war,join the military in the first place!And as history has shown us, the muslim religion,doesn't seem to object to war either! Why was this guy given special treatment ? he shouldve been kicked out of the military, dishonorable discharge!
