And guess what, now these children think they can just go up to ANY day laborer in the street and talk to them because of this experience. GOOD LORD!! This teacher has now put these children at risk!!

Sounds like the principle is a reconquista / illegal invader sympathizer as well! Bet your bottom dollar the principle was well aware of this little field trip before it took place...

A public school field trip…to the local illegal alien day labor center
By Michelle Malkin • June 3, 2008 10:39 AM What’s next? Assemblies with fake ID manufacturers? Gym classes with coyotes?

Darleen Click points to this L.A. Daily News report on a 4th-grade public school field trip to a local illegal alien day labor site:

It wasn’t your typical field trip that Danielle Quinto took her fourth-grade class at Our Community School in North Hills on last week.

Her 25 students - all from lower- to middle-class working families - didn’t go to the Los Angeles Zoo or Travel Town.

Instead, they went to see men whom they said scared them, men they thought were dangerous and stole things.

Quinto took her class of 9-year-old children on a field trip to a city-funded, day-labor work site in North Hollywood near a Home Depot.

“It was a little weird taking the kids on a field trip like this, but it turned out to be a teacher’s dream,â€

Expose these impressionable children to men for whom we know nothing abouit their backgrounds, who they are, etc. I agree, totally irresponsible on many levels.

I have spent most of the morning sending this article to various elected officials; calling Child Protective Services to report the school; and leaving voicemails at the school demanding that the teachers involved in this outrageous stunt be FIRED!

This is a case of child endangerment...above and beyond the fact that it's an illegal alien day labor center! IMAGINE...ALLOWING YOUR CHILD TO GO UP TO A BUNCH OF TRANSIENT, LOITERING DAY LABORERS AND ENGAGING THEM IN CONVERSATION!!! WHAT AN INVITATION FOR CHILD MOLESTERS AND RAPISTS!!!

Contact your Congressmen and Senators! We need to use this school as living proof that our schools are destroying our society and condoning lawlessness!

Great Job AmericanMe! I have sent a copy to Glen Beck. This outrage needs to be exposed because there was no doubt a total and complete reckless disregard for the safety of children in order to promote a disgusting pro-illegal invader agenda.

Quinto took her class of 9-year-old children on a field trip to a city-funded, day-labor work site in North Hollywood near a Home Depot.
    1. Was a translator needed for communication between the day laborers and the class?
    2. Day labor sites are reported as sites where illegal aliens look for work. Illegal aliens lack background and criminal checks and health screening.
    3. Some day laborers are simply people who have lost their regular job.
    4. No one knows the history of people using day labor sites and that background could include gang members, pedophiles, drug addicts, robbers, TB and other contagious diseases and so forth.
    5. Would a 9 year old give a day laborer his/her address while on a school trip?

IMO teacher Danielle Quinto and the school need to be charged with child endangerment and federal funding of this school needs examining.
