Southern NM residents tell congressmen they are concerned about illegal immigration

Residents and ranchers of Southern New Mexico expressed their discontent with illegal immigration in front of four U.S. representatives today.

The four congressmen - Steve Pearce, R-N.M., Phil Gringey, R-Ga., Steve King, R-Iowa and Ed Royce, R-Calif. - visited the New Mexico border today to learn firsthand the state of border security from the perception of people living and working in the area.

But residents did not talk much about border security. Instead, the general feeling at the public hearing was that more and more undocumented immigrants are entering the United States and wasting public funds without paying taxes.

Only a few residents brought up concerns of attacks coming from drug cartels controlling the corridor and offered ideas they think will better protect the border.

And they aren't all from N.M., they are from around the country.

Notice they were all Republicans too.

I have a few questions that I hope someone will assist me with?

Why most Democrats Senators are trying so hard to protect illegal immigrants and want them to remain in this Country, although they are destroying America day by day and employers are employing more undocumented immigrants than American citizens. Democrats will not do anything much to assist Republicans Senators with increasing of immigration laws that will stabilize the U.S. Many people are discussing this issue, and are trying to figure out why illegal aliens have captured so much attention from most Democrats Senators. Do they not understand immigrants that are not lawfully in this Country are actually criminals and must return to their homelands. If not our Country will soon hit rock bottom from fraud crimes and criminal acts of illegal aliens.

Perhaps, Pisces_2010, many Democrats see a HUGE potential voting bloc....ya think? If amnesty were granted tomorrow to all of the illegals the Republican Party wouldn't matter anymore, at least for a couple decades, if ever.

Even if American citizens are suffering greatly, due to a steady flow of illegal immigrants invasions.

This madness must be ceased and our U.S. Senators needs to do what is best for our Country, otherwise we have a major problem that could lead to an unstable Country. I never want to see the United States become as Egypt is currently.

It is some very weird and frightening things occurring in this Country if anyone has sense enough to notice it.

Should these dems ever push through a mass amnesty, it will be their downfall in more ways than one. Considering the majority of illegal aliens here today are predominately hispanic, they will vote for hispanic candidates - regardless of party affiliation. Diversity? Not acceptable to a group that self-segregates themselves.
