And is her family still here on a summer overstay? ICE!

She has since graduated from St. Mary's University with a double degree in biology and sociology. But after being pulled over in a traffic stop, Veliz told the officer she had no driver's license because she was in the country illegally. She is now in federal removal proceedings.

"I am but one story," Veliz said. "The opportunity to share it is a golden opportunity."

Among those speaking was Benita Veliz, a 23-year-old from San Antonio who came to the United States as an 8-year-old believing her stay in Texas would be short. "I honestly thought we were coming for summer vacation," she said.

And neither will Amnesty, since the illegal aliens equal the number of unemployed Americans and the unemployment rate is still on the rise.

I think we should all gather up the illegals and dump them on the White House lawn and let all the Democrats that are demanding that the American tax payers support this criminal population ,pay for them.

If she's in removal proceedings, why is she making speeches at SMU? IMO, those in removal proceedings should be held in detention until their deportation.

She has received a great education on our dime, so now she can go back to Mexico with her Sociology Degree and make much needed changes in HER Country. "The opportunity to share it is a golden opportunity."
