We have laws, just enforce them - period. He is going to have plenty of legal assistance. Just seems to me no matter how much experience he had in the field, he is going to have plenty of 'legal' opposition, so what he needs to be able to do is just what the laws says should be done.
That's exactly why Kris Kobach would make an excellent deputy director. Kobach knows the laws backwards to front and he actually writes law. Kobach seems to be an expert on everything immigration.
