National Class Action Lawsuit Filed against President Obama's Administration to Enforce Immigration Law, Stop Illegal Immigration

Liberty Legal Foundation files a national class action lawsuit demanding that the Obama administration enforce existing immigration law. The suit also takes aim at the flawed logic of the recent U.S. v. Arizona ruling, alleging that Judge Bolton has paved the way towards an Executive branch dictatorship. The Lawsuit asserts that to allow the Department of Homeland Security to ignore directives from the Legislative branch regarding illegal immigration in favor of "their own priorities" destroys the rule of law.

Whoo hoo finally a way to hold our goverment acountable on this issue now if they could only go after the politicions in these sanctuary citiys for the obustructing the laws there. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Thanks for posting this. Ive received two emails about this group but it has been in the middle of this latest amnesty battle.

For quite some time now, we have been telling people that if they could find an attorney or firm that would sue the government on our behalf we would certainly support the effort if it was handled appropriately.

So, we need to look into this group and their plan to see if this is something we can support politically and financially with confidence or not.

In 1996, Congress passed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. That act required the executive branch to respond to requests for information about an individual’s immigration status. This requirement was restated in 1997 in the Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act. See US Code, Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter II, Part IX, Section 1373

I have the highest esteem for Sheriff Mack. He has provided every Sheriff in the US a copy of his book "The County Sheriff, America's Last Hope," which is excellent. He is an Oath Keeper, Defender of the Constitution and the Autonomy of Sheriffs, and won a landmark decision in state's rights and local sovereignty in the 1994 Supreme Court Decision Mack/Printz vs. US Re: The Brady Bill and the Clinton Administration.
