National fund to help immigrants make bond
A coalition of immigrant advocates is soliciting donations for a
"National Immigrant Bond Fund."

The organization's website says it "seeks to reaffirm the values of dignity and due process by assisting immigrants swept up in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions to post bond quickly in order to secure a fair hearing in America's courts."

The organization was pioneered by multi-millionaire Robert Hildreth, who was upset by images from an ICE raid in Boston and offered to post bond for immigration detainees. The group has an innovative approach. To encourage immigrants to appear in court, it asks detainees' families to match the bail contributions.

Hildreth is loved in many pro-immigrant circles, but he has vocal critics. It will be interesting to see if this fundraising campaign catches on nationally, which seems to be the organizers' goal...

Are illegal aliens even allowed to make bond anymore? They certainly shouldn't be, they should be handed over to ICE for deportation. This man is a fool if he thinks illegal aliens will show up at a hearing, they could care less that he'd lose the bond money.

So, make bail for folks who are from the country that provides the lartgest share of illegal drugs to America. Perhaps, dealers themselves. In Georgia, it is mostly illegals who "build" meth labs.

The greatest danger to America is self-loathing Americans, next is misguided do-gooders, then we finally get to the criminals. The list is topped by American businessmen who place profits above patriotism. They have always been around. During other wars, profiteers were jailed and their ill-gotten gains seized in punishment. Today, it is almost the norm. I will wager that better than 50% of American businessmen think it is their right to hire below industry wage laborers to increase their profits.
The worst unintended consequence of that is the number of anchor babies, incorrectly granted citizenship by the misinterpretation of the 14th amendment. Many of them are in office now and in the past 30 years have passed legislation to stifle and disable the offices of our legal officers from performing their duties.
The problem with posting here is that I am preaching to the choir. We need to seek individuals or groups that are making sacrifices to support our workers and our laws.

I will list one of these today. If, somehow, many of them could get together in one site with all their supporters, it would be a force to be reckoned with. It would wield conservative power.

He is currently suing the Cobb County Council for issuing business licenses without proof of citizenship. Shortly after he filed suit, the county changed the wording of documents from "Business License" to "Occupational Certificate" becasue the Federal and County laws say "Business License". How venal, how corrupt! His fight is almost a one man fight and he can use some donations to carry on.

Good, after they post bond, let the illegals live in Hildreth's neighborhood and have Hildreth send his children to public schools where the majority of students are children of illegal aliens and don't speak English.

Bail wouldn't matter if these illegals had ICE Holds placed on them. They could bond out, but would immediately be turned over to ICE until their case could be adjudicated. Of course that's how things should work in a sane world regarding this issue, which we all know is not the case.

I thought illegals aliens were now automatically being placed on an immigration hold (when ICE knows their status)? In other words, I thought that any illegal released on bond was automatically turned over to the immigration authorities.
