Its no accident that the MSM is showcasing Immigrants this week. Obama was going to announce an Immigration Reform plan this week, before it got canceled idefinately.

Leadership Institute about the impact of the population surge and how the
2010 Census results affect every American. On Tuesday, CNBC.s Carl
Quintanilla explores the challenges of families torn apart by immigration.

He will talk to two families in which the children are living separately
from one or both parents because of deportation.
    Also on Tuesday,
Telemundos Maria Celeste Arrars and Dr. Nancy Snyderman report on breast cancer, which has become one of the leading causes of death for Hispanic women. They will take a look at available healthcare as well as grassroots efforts to improve prevention.

Continuing on Wednesday, Miguel Almaguer will discuss the bilingual divide across the country and the ongoing debate on how the school systems are meeting the challenge. On Thursday, .Today. will examine the Hispanic influence on America.s pop culture. Kerry Sanders will take a look at the impact Hispanic-Americans have made in music, movies and cuisine. On Friday, CNBC.s Michelle Caruso-Cabrera will profile five trailblazing Hispanic women: Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, entrepreneur Linda Alvarado, astronaut Ellen Ochoa, WNBA player Diana Taurasi, and ballet dancer Paloma Herrera.

Additionally throughout the week, .Today. will feature notable and
up-and-coming local chefs including Jose Garces (Philadelphia) , Marcela

Here It Comes: Immigration Propaganda Blitzkrieg

Media Work to Soften America American Patrol Report --June 15

ICE raid "Small Town Under Siege"

On Saturday CBS News ran a story "Small Town Under Siege," "Postville is an excellent opportunity for our elected officials - for our president and the administration to come and see what immigration raids do to communities," said Pastor Steve Brackett, with the St. Paul Lutheran Church. "We have the evidence right here."

(Our president might take a look at Los Angeles to see what illegal immigration has done to that community.)

Then, yesterday, 60 Minutes ran a piece "Immigrant Widows Left in Limbo."

"But Immigration has been trying to deport several hundred widows and a few widowers - foreigners who had been married to American citizens when the Americans died."

We have more than fifteen million illegal aliens in the country and ICE is a targeting a few hundred widows? Why? Could it be they are working with 60 Minutes to engender a compassion reaction?

And this week CBS Evening News will be running nightly stories dealing with illegal immigration. No doubt Katie Couric will take aim at America's heartstrings.

When will the media do a series on how illegal immigration has destroyed California and ended the American dream for millions of Americans?

I've been meaning to clean out my junk drawer for years. Looks like I'll do that instead of watching this drivel.

He is the weatherman on my local chanel for petesakes. What would he have to offer in the debate other than he is of Hispanic heritage? Why in the hell would NBC have LEGAL Hispanics talking about immigration reform? This is such bs.
