Durham — Three men were being held on $25 million bonds in the Durham County Jail on Sunday following a drug bust that police said netted $2 million worth of cocaine and $150,000 worth of marijuana.

Filemon Lopez Rebolledo, 28, who police said had addresses in Yakima, Wash., and 2804 W. Main St. in Durham, was arrested along with Jose Antonio Gonzalez Velez, 38, of 120 Alexander Drive in Oxford, and Luis Castellanos Gomez, 34, of 113 Herbert St. in Durham.

Police charged all three with conspiracy to traffic cocaine. The arrests netted 94 kilograms of cocaine and approximately 150 pounds of marijuana, officials said.

Rebolledo was also charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and felony possession of cocaine, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.

Additional charges against Gonzalez Velez were trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances and driving without a license, police said.

They charged Gomez with trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver.

Police said the case began when their Interstate Crime Enforcement (ICE) Team stopped a Ford Ranger on Fayetteville Street on Friday. Gonzalez Velez was driving, and police arrested him after they found five kilos of cocaine hidden in a secret compartment in the vehicle, they said.

After that, police said, investigators executed three search warrants in Durham and seized approximately $300,000 in U.S. currency, a Tec-9 assault pistol, three vehicles and various drug and money packaging materials.
