Napolitano Refocuses Immigration Policy

Unwilling to wait for Congress to act, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is drastically rewriting U.S. policy on immigration and border control.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Napolitano is shifting America's enforcement focus on businesses that hire illegal aliens, rather than simply arresting illegals. She also is mandating that police put special emphasis on apprehending illegals who have criminal records and are a threat to the public.

Napolitano also has dramatically increased federal manpower on the U.S.-Mexico border, in an attempt to stem the tide of weapons headed south and the flow of drugs northward.

NAPOLITANO Should be held DIRECTLY responsible if an Illegal Alien is picked up, identified, and then released, only to commit a heinous crime that victimizes someone in this nation.

Wow...that's a good comment. What makes Napolitano think she is better than the laws we have on the books? More activism, not just judicial.... it's Secretarial Activism, now.

According to this prevailing social justice theory 1 in 10 illegals is a criminal and the other 9 are responsible models of behavior? I'm ready to vomit. Even if they start out with that intention they are soon corrupted with the social milieu that tolerates them.

There is a public comment period for DHS starting Aug. 3. Give her a piece of your mind. I have no guarantee as to what it will accomplish. Maybe she should be charged...but I don't know where you would find an officer able to do it.

Captainron, any idea what the thing is we can comment on? And do you have a link where to comment? I will start crafting careful, responsible words to tell them politely where to stuff it.

Janet is a traitor and must be impeached.
