Henderson County Sheriff’s OfficeLast week, sheriff’s deputies in Henderson County, NC arrested Luis Antonio Cruz, 42, for repeated sexual offenses with a girl over an eight year period. The alleged rapes began when the girl was only 10-years-old.

Cruz was charged with four counts of second-degree rape, two counts of attempted second-degree sex offense, indecent liberties with a child and one count of felony child abuse.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office identified Cruz as an illegal alien through the federal 287(g) program.

Sheriff Rick Davis told reporters. “Persons in this category, after completion of a sentence, are deported as an aggravated felon and returned to their country of origin.â€

Damn, are we getting new illegal alien child rape reports about every 3 days.

What is even more frightening is how much of it happens and the media does not report it. Everyday I check the immigration holds in the Broward County jail and the arrests in Collier County which gives daily updates. If people did that for a couple of weeks then they would very angry at what they would see.

I have actually thought of doing something with it. I know that in the sun-sentinel they have Broward County mug shots and under that can be broken down intio various catagories. Immigration hold is one of them. They go by month and at this time there are 31 people incarcerated this month with immigration holds. Then you have the Collier County who's in jail which is posted on a daily basis. There you have to look at various things to figure out if they are illegal or not. Driving without a valid driver's license and being born in another country is a high indicator that they illegal as is the use of fake ID and being born outside the United States. In Miami Dade they will often times not call them illegal immigrants but you can tell by reading the story. There are dead give aways. People are not stupid and they comment on it. The people are getting more vocal about illegals and many who used to feel sorry for them in the past no longer do.

Anyone watching The First 48 on A&E. The show on now is about an illegal that got murdered and his body parts were scattered in Miami. At first they don't say he is an illegal but when they bring up his picture it is a booking photo from the Dade County Jail and not a driver's license as what is normally used. Later on they talk his room mate and relative and mention they don't care that they illegals as they aren't immigration. I knew about the case from when it occurred and tried to be objective watching this episode.
