Man Arrested Just Months After Release From Federal Prison

Davie County, NC--On August 20, deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff's Office working with the Davie County Sheriff's Office, Wilkes County Sheriff's Office and the United States Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Alfonso Mora-Perez, 31.

Mora-Perez was arrested following a delivery of one kilogram of cocaine to an undercover officer for Iredell County who was posing as a customer. The transaction occurred at a location in Mocksville, NC. At the time of the delivery, Mora-Perez was on federal supervised release following a federal drug conviction in Virginia. He had been released from custody several months before this cocaine delivery and arrest.

Mora-Perez is charged with multiple cocaine trafficking charges and is in custody in the Davie County Detention Center under a million-dollar bond.

This guy must be illegal , i thought we were deporting these scumbags ...
