    Suspect Held Without Bail

    GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- A 34-year-old man is in the Guilford County Jail on charges of statutory rape.

    Gibsonville police said they were investigating a report of a missing juvenile at a home when they found the child, along with another child and the suspect, Jorge Luis Cortes-Resendriz, of Durham.

    The children were released to their guardians, police said.

    Cortes-Resendriz was being held with no bail on suspicion he is in the country illegally, police said

    Found in Durham? Don't tell the Durham City Council or Mayor Bill Bell or they will take actions to give this guy a valid ID and make arrangements for the local police not to consider his immigration status when trying to protect children from rape.
