    NC-Policy would admit illegal immigrants

    Policy would admit illegal immigrants

RALEIGH -- North Carolina community colleges leaders have drawn up a new policy that would allow illegal immigrants into the two-year colleges.

The state Board of Community Colleges' policy committee on Thursday drafted rules that would admit undocumented immigrants if they graduated from a U.S. high school.

    The newly drafted rules stipulate:

    • that immigrant students would have to pay out-of-state rates of about $7,000 a year.

    • that lawful U.S. residents would have priority for admission when classrooms are crowded.

Debate on the guidelines and a vote by the full community colleges board isn't expected until next month.

The country's third-largest community college system has changed its illegal immigrant admission policy four times since 2000.

North Carolina what the heck? American Citizens First! Illegal Immigrant students and their parents have lied and stolen; and are breaking the immigration laws as the Community College in NC are trying to aid and abet the illegals via a vote on their board.

NC State elected official have to hear from us.

(My letter to my State Senator.)

    Dear Senator X:

Why didn't E-Verify get passed this year for usage by all in our state?

Is it for this special interest group or that group that some get to profit from the illegal immigrants in North Carolina?

The NC budget is in deficit and taxes are on the raise. I have read NC taxes are being given to illegal immigrant of at least a billion dollars annually. Who is profiting off of everyone? And who is paying the bill?

I am totally against Community College Board thinking they can vote and break Federal Immigration Laws.

All state and federal dollars should be cut off to these colleges, immediately if they keep going down this road.

It is already upsetting to know how our North Carolina/ US CITIZENS GPAs in High School determine success on getting into selective colleges. NC citizens have not figured out how the illegal immigrant students have and are continuing to damage the SUCCESS of our own North Carolina students. But I have seen firsthand the damage being done to NC Citizens/Students via our NC School Systems.

There was a Future Doctor, NC Citizen Student who settled on going into nursing due to not getting into Carolina. This student's 10 year older sister got into Carolina. So what is the difference now? GPA! and combining illegal immigrants into a combined system of GPA.

Why are 18 year old illegal immigrant students being allowed to damage the NC Citizens GPAs?

Get E-Verify first! Don't allow illegal immigrants into our colleges. PLEASE.

    North Carolina Citizens First,
    X

The source article contained this "comment" at the end of the story:

"The commenting function on this story has been turned off because of abuse."

Typical MSM, if you do not agree then they will not allow you to state your differences, more of a move to total control by "our" government.

Fight back with your dollars, Americans.

The American citizens should threaten to take, their kids out of the colleges if NC admits illegals. And follow through on the threat if the colleges continue to admit them. The colleges can't exist without Americans enrolling.

    Surry County
On Tuesday, Gov. Perdue attended a class and met with students at the Surry Early College High School of Design on Surry Community College’s campus in Dobson. North Carolina is a national leader when it comes to Early Colleges, with 70 locations. Students enrolled in this program attend high school on a college campus for five years and finish with a high school diploma and two years of transferable college credit or an associate degree – at no cost to the student.

Gov. Perdue met with Principal Celia Hodges, Community College President Dr. Deborah Friedman, members of the college’s board, and other local education officials. Most importantly, Gov. Perdue had the opportunity to sit in on a biology class taught by Jeff Edwards.

Students told the Governor about being excited to “get a really good head start on lifeâ€
