BEAVER CROSSING, Neb. - The Nebraska State Patrol says a traffic stop on Interstate 80 this week led to the seizure of more than 800 pounds of marijuana.

The patrol says a trooper stopped a rental truck believed to be speeding Tuesday near the Beaver Crossing exit in southeast Nebraska. The trooper reported a check of the 34-year-old driver's license showed he was wanted by federal Immigration agents, leading to the Detroit man's arrest.

The patrol says a search of the truck turned up 33 bales of marijuana weighing 810 pounds inside boxes in the back.

A 28-year-old passenger from Detroit also was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
