Nevada – Infiltration vs. Immigration
Terresa Monroe

Before beginning this particular article, I want to say that the Minutemen and women on both our national borders are my heroes. These people are in the very truest sense, American Patriots – they are doing a thankless, dangerous job because our government can’t be bothered to do theirs.

The government of Mexico is absolutely brilliant – they don’t have to go to war with the United States – they just have to outbreed us… And they’ve done it – Caucasians are now a minority in many states with Hispanic populations outpacing all races. Kudos…

We are one of only a couple of countries left in the world who give citizenship rights to those born of illegal immigrants. Let’s make sure that particular oversight ends soon before the invasion is complete and English is a second language in America. Not to mention the incredible financial burden being put on states and taxpayers.

I have lived in Nevada for just about 25 years - long enough to see our illegal immigration problem blossom into an epidemic. I personally know of companies in Vegas who use illegal cheap labor and each year just before tax docs are to be issued to employees, they let them go and start over. Nifty, huh?

Here’s an example that is even more thought provoking… Take for example, one “immigrant that I know of here in Carson City that has lived here for at least 15 years. This woman works for the casinos and has a green card, but has never learned English (does not intend to) nor has she started the process to become a legal immigrant (does not intend to). She is originally from El Salvador and she brought two children with her. She is not married and has had four more children while here and unmarried. She has a full-time job but lives in government subsidized housing and gets other financial aide from our government. Not only is the government allowing her to be an “immigrant for decades, but we are paying for it as well. If that is not total lunacy, I don’t know what is.

We may not be directly on the border, but Nevada is being inundated by illegal immigrants and you don’t hear a word from our illustrious politicians – not a peep. Why? Because on the left, you have the pretense of sympathy for the perceived down-trodden minority in order to obtain votes (pure misinformed stupidity and elitism) and on the right you have the desire for cheap, disposable labor (read economic greed – damn the long term consequences).

Lately, I have heard rumors from Homeland Security that if you aren’t a legal immigrant or in the process of becoming one, you will be deported. I pray that happens, but I don’t have much faith in it. Greed and political agendas are overriding factors here – but our politicians would do well to remember that this is the United States of America not the United Republic of Mexico. A revolution is going on and once again, only 2% of the population even cares. Disgraceful… Infiltration is the word of the day not immigration – Viva la Revolucion!
