New border watch group breaks away from Minutemen

Former members of the Minuteman Project are breaking away to form a new border watch group.

It’s a story Eyewitness News 4 first told you about last year.

We now have exclusive details about their newly-formed border watch group.

Fred Puckett was an active member of the Minuteman Project, but he recently left the group.

Puckett says, “In my opinion, they got to be too materialistic and too hard of supervision.â€

There are always those who believe they can do a better job...my fear is that some of these splinter groups will end up causing a problem which will give all the border watchers a bad name.

I don't think it's been a good idea to tell anyone where they're going to be watching...I think it endangers the watchers unnecessarily as well as circumvents the very thing they're trying to do. Spot illegals entering our country.

So while I agree, I also disagree..LOL...
