DAVDSON COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) - Deputies in Davidson County seized $5,000 worth of stolen clothes during a traffic stop on I-85 Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said a deputy recovered the clothing after stopping a vehicle near milemarker 91 around 10:30 p.m for a burned-out tag light. During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered the stolen clothing.
According to the sheriff's office, the clothing had the sensor tags still attached. Deputies also seized a lead-lined bag, a bag the suspect could have used to steal the clothing.
Cristian Briceno Gustavo, 22, of Durham, was arrested and charged with driving without a license, giving false information to an officer and possession of stolen property. He was placed in the Davidson County Jail under $125,000 bond.

DAVIDSON COUNTY --
The driver of a vehicle stopped along Interstate 85 in Davidson County Wednesday was arrested after deputies said they found more than $5,000 in stolen clothes in several large duffle bags.
Deputies said they stopped the vehicle driven by 22-year-old Cristian Briceno Gustavo, of Durham, after determining that he had a burned out license plate light.
The stolen items -- from Express, New York & Company, Aeropostale, Chico’s and the Children’s Place -- were found during a search of the vehicle.
Deputies said Gustavo couldn't provide valid identification and gave officers three different names during the investigation.

He was charged with driving with no operator’s license, giving fictitious information to an officer and possession of stolen property.
He was being held on a $125,000 bond.

AND THIS IS THE KIND OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT OUR DUMB @*S GOVERNMENT WANT TO MAKE LEGAL I GUESS HIS JOB WAS STEALING AND MAYBE SELLING THINGS SUCH AS THIS. THIS SURE IS A JOB THAT LAW ABIDING AMERICANS WON'T DO I'M SO GLAD THEY PLACED HIM UNDER A HIGH BOND. THERE'S NO TELLING HOW LONG HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT. AND HIS LEAD LINED BAG KEPT THE SENSOR TAGS FROM BEING SET OFF. THEY ARE REAL CRIMINALS AND THEY ARE BEING PANDERED TO BY THE DUMMIES IN D.C., GO FIGURE
