Former McDonald's manager sentenced in document fraud case

A former manager of a local McDonald's restaurant Wednesday was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison for her role in a scheme to sell identities of American citizens to employees within the restaurant chain.

Eva Ramos, 36, must also pay a $1,500 fine and serve a three-year supervised release term after she completes her custody sentence, U.S. District Judge William T. Moore Jr. ordered.

Ramos pleaded guility earlier to providing identities to illegal immigrant to ue in applying for jobs in Savannah-area McDonald's restaurants.
