Our U.S. Congress members obviously have too much free time on their hands. Since when do they have time to write books. Representing and supporting the will of their constituents should be a full time job. After all, that is what we expect of them and pay them for! They are not paid to run around the country rallying illegal aliens, set up training programs for illegals, give private lectures, and write books, etc., etc. Serving their constituents is supposed to be a full time job. Come on, these people are getting payed, including perks like healthcare, dental care, housing allotments, meal allotments, travel per diem, etc., above $200,000 a year. I believe a House Reps base salary is around $174,000 a year (Senator's earn more). I'm guessing that some of these folks are making over 1 million a year from activities that do not include serving the people, such as private investments (with inside information), lectures(up to 15% of salary), book writing, and guest appearances on news shows. Once in office, members of Congress enjoy access to connections and information they can use to increase their wealth, in ways that are unparalled in the private sector. Congressmen can get away with the type of insider trading that would send you or I to prison. They go into hearings, and confidential meetings with business interests, understanding new legislation is going to come out in the near future, and are free to trade on that information (yep, it's legal for them to do so). Most of us are being represented by folks who are the elite of the financial elite.

Rubio is currently one of the poorest members of Congress, however, if we allow him to remain in office, he'll remedy that situation in future years ....... you can bet on it! It's a known fact that the U.S. Congress is a millionairs club with over 50% of them being millionairs. Many of them that have been there the longest appear to be among the wealthest.

Sorry for the unrelated rant. Just got angry when I read about another illegal alien supporting congressman increasing his wealth off the back of those he is supposed to represent.
