Bonds reduced for arrested illegal immigrants

(New Haven-WTNH) _ A federal Judge Tuesday reduced bonds for all but two of 15 illegal immigrants arrested in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid earlier this month.

Two of the defendants, who had convictions for drunk driving on their records, had their bonds held at $25,000.

The bond of one man was reduced to $2,000. The man owns a business in New Haven and has two children who are U.S. citizens.

The judge reduced other $15,000 bonds to amounts ranging from $6,000 to $8,000.

All of them have heading dates scheduled for October 24th.
