Nicaraguans Want CAFTA Ratified Soon

(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Many adults in Nicaragua want to endorse the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), according to a poll by M&R published in La Prensa. 61.8 per cent of respondents support the ratification of the proposed commerce deal.

In May 2004, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua agreed to the CAFTA. The Dominican Republic followed suit in August. The treatyâ€â€

I don't give a rats a-- what Nicaraguans want. Of course they want CAFTA because they want to free load off of our dollar. What about what we want? I've yet to see a poll on this in the media anywhere. How hard is it to do? Do you want CAFTA yes or no? Why hasn't the media been on this? The American people aren't getting any say in this and they don't even know what will hit them when all is said and done.
