Yeah they're living in the "shadows" and "living in fear"

They're so fearful they have no problem calling the media or the police? Riiight.

Employers beware - your cheap labor will come back to bite you. I hope they take a HUGE bite.

Caceres said he called the Morristown Latino advocacy group, Wind of the Spirit, and was referred to a Bergen County attorney, Arthur Linderman. Caceres said he has not yet contacted Linderman but the lawyer said Monday he provides volunteer legal assistance through Wind of the Spirit.
"Wind of the Spirit"??? What on earth?

"Wind of the Spirit" is a radical, Socialist, "illegal immigrant" advocates who staged protest regarding the implementation of 287(g) in Morristown, NJ. They work closely with all the other open-border, pro-illegal alien, anti-law enforcement organizations. See,

[quote]Linderman said the state labor department often does not get involved in such situations. It was unclear if the employees are documented but even if they are undocumented, Linderman said it was unlikely the U.S. Immigration Service would get involved.

In cases like these we need COMPREHENSIVE, COORDINATED law enforcement.....all state agencies having a stake in the matter of employers hiring illegal workers, stiffing them on their pay, stiffing the state and local municipal entities out of taxes, etc. should be getting on this case. The State of NJ would certainly have a windfall if they would go after all the unpaid payroll taxes, and prosecute all the employers for not maintaining worker's comp insurance, etc. If these illegal employees start suing the employers for the wages...they then don't seem so "cheap:" anymore and perhaps these employers will realize it's not worth the hassle to hire illegals.

If wages aren't being paid, I doubt federal taxes , state taxes or worker's comp. is being paid. Someone from this state should ask for an investigation into this company paying it's state tax and worker's comp insurance.
