REP. MILLER REINTRODUCES SWEEPING IMMIGRATION LEGISLATION

REP. MILLER REINTRODUCES SWEEPING IMMIGRATION LEGISLATION

    US Fed News
    March 18, 2011 Friday
    WASHINGTON, D.C.

Rep. Gary Miller, R-Calif. (42nd CD), issued the immediate following news release:

To address America's serious illegal immigration crisis, Congressman Miller has reintroduced the Loophole Elimination and Verification Enforcement Act, also known as the LEAVE Act.

Each year, California households pay an average of $1,183 to provide health care, education, and incarceration to millions of illegal immigrants.

In these very economically challenging times, there is absolutely no reason that hard-working California families should be forced to bear these costs.

The LEAVE Act takes a tough enforcement first approach to solve these problems by removing the many incentives and loopholes in our current laws that only encourage illegal aliens to come to the United States to live, work, and overstay their visas.

In addition, this sweeping legislation gives law enforcement the very necessary tools they need to protect America's nation and communities.

Among its many provisions, the LEAVE Act dramatically tightens the forms of identification that will be accepted by the federal government and financial institutions; greatly expands the E-Verify program to require all employers to confirm the work eligibility of all of their employees; and prevents all illegal immigrants from receiving any Social Security credit for utilizing false identification and illegally working in the United States.

The LEAVE Act also ends birthright citizenship, excludes all illegal immigrants from receiving in-state college tuition, requires mandatory completion of the border fence, and mandates the hiring of 8,000 new Border Patrol agents before 2015.

Congressman Miller is proud to reintroduce the LEAVE Act because he believes it is very critical that America greatly reduce our nation's illegal immigrant population.

Cut the illegals social services, stop the jobs to them, and make them stand out without having proper ID. Great plans but we need to have ice also take the bull bythe horns and deport each and every illegal found nationwide. No slap on the wrist or out on bail.

This is an option will definitely eliminate the entire illegal immigration problem!!!

Take very steep legal actions against employers who employ undocumented aliens. Wipe corrupted employers out with every legal tool possible and illegal immigrants will leave this Country, once they cannot seek employments. This is the (KEY) that will solve the immigration problem. Also when they are deported, allow their children to leave with them.
When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:

Yep,probably right. As long as the voters In California keep re-electing the same far left lunatic liberals that crave more voters (Illegal or not) to keep their stranglehold on the state, and keep the people dependent on the government for handouts,NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE The fact that "Boxer" was re-elected,and of course Jerry Brown, who single handedly destroyed the states economy the first time that he was governor, just goes to show you how much trouble that California Is really In. They are now "officially" A THIRD WORLD BANANA REPUBLIC within the United States....
