I suspect this lawyer has been hired by special interest group(s) to concentrate exclusively on the Ramirez case. If not, his law firm was hired and he was assigned to spend as much time as necessary on this specific case. Whatever the case may be, I'm betting there is a boatload of money financing the defense of this case.
