GOP notes border frustration; foes cite hardships

Bonnie Craig is the kind of Georgian whom Republican lawmakers hope to please with a raft of anti-illegal immigration legislation headed for debate before the General Assembly this winter.

When she shops at the local Wal-Mart, grocery store or gas station, the 70-year-old Lawrenceville resident said, she feels overwhelmed by Hispanics, many of whom, she says, haven't bothered to learn English.
