Thread: "No Speak English, No Service" A Restaurant Sign

Put the sing back up .Its a right he has a legal citizen.If he takes it down the illegals win again.IF They cant speak english or bring a translator with them he dont have to cater to them its time they learn the hard way.Just like i done when i built my home i called contractors to do work for me.My first question to them was how much it would cost to get the job done it was if you have illegals working for you i dont need your services.That was my right to do so just like its his right to serve who he wants.TIRED OF GIVING IN TO THESE PEOPLE TIME TO TAKE A STAND AND HE DID .Now he needs to put the sing back and if they theaten him have them arrested for it they dont want to arrested they will get caught that way.I worked part time a auto parts store they hired a girl that could speak mexican and paid her 2 dollars more on the hour than me because she could speak to them.I complained to the manager about it she told me to learn mexican and i could get the same pay.I told her they should learn my language they live here i dont live there.She said well thats the way it is i promptly told her where she could shove her store and quit and i dont shop at any of these stores any more.

Hey, isn't the sign free speech? I think the shop owners rights were violated.

"Please be aware before entering our establishment that the only language spoken by our staff is English"

Heartsick, that sounds great.

The only people living here who should not have to speak English in public are the Native Americans.

I remember the days when you had to have a sponsor, a job and speak English efficiently prior to being allowed into the US. Government entitlements were never an option.

Now? PC has run amuck, foreigners come here demanding (and receiving) rights and services that as an American citizen I have never been deemed eligible to receive. As a single parent that worked every single day, I couldn't even qualify for WIC or any daycare assistance. Yet there were children of welfare recipients in daycare being subsidized by MY TAX DOLLARS.

Now, every public place that I enter is the equivalent of entering the tower of babble. So much so that I have gotten to the point that I hate to go in the grocery store, the malls or any other public place in this country as more and more each day English becomes the second language in America. More and more I become emboldened and walk up to these idiots and scream at them SPEAK ENGLISH. They look at me like I am crazy but I don't care. We need to make these mod edit feel embarrassed not the other way around.

I have worked and paid taxes for more than 30 years, have never had anything more than a parking/speeding ticket and have never received any of the government services that I have paid into. Why do I feel like a foreigner in my own country?

I think its safe to say that not only are the inmates running the asylum, the illegal aliens (mod edit) and interlopers need to get the hell out of America.

Agreed about the posts on Geno's Steaks in Philly. I was born in South Jersey and grew up eating Philly cheese steaks.

Geno's sign reads:

Our laws are written in English. Our Constitution is written in English. Our road signs are written in English. And without a doubt, our official language should be ENGLISH.

I feel sorry for the diner owners in this situation. Their rights are being violated. They are English speaking people and they have the right to service people in ways they feel comfortable. They have no obligation to speak another language.
