We held roundtables with stakeholders, meetings with business groups and briefing sessions with Legislatures, as well as with other relevant political jurisdictions.
Upon your review and approval, we will once again meet with stakeholders and work with them to implement the workplans that we have developed.
I want to know exactly who they are talking about! I want to know the NAMES of the businesses that attended these meetings. Briefings sessions with which Legislatures? Were U.S. Legislators involved? And who, pray tell are the mysterious stakeholders mentioned not once, but twice in SSP reports!!

God, I hope we can put the breaks on this horrendous plan! Word is getting out though. I start a thread about it on eBay discussion forums at least once a week, now others are too. I just hope it's not to little, too late.

Do any of the idots making these decisions care about what American tax paying citizens want? Did any of us approve the workplans

Watch for it in your state because they have renamed it in Texas.

Texas Department of Transportation invites you to a public hearing on
the Trans-Texas Corridor 35 from Oklahoma to Mexico.
(NOTICE HOW THEY CHANGED THE NAME)?

    When: Monday, July 17, 2006
Where: Will Rogers Memorial Center, Exhibits Hall, Round Up Inn
    Location: 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive
Time: Open House begins at 5:00 p.m. and the Public Hearing starts at
    6:30 p.m.

    Purpose of Public Hearing:
    · Review and comment on the recommended preferred corridor (narrowed study area) and other alternatives
    · Find out about the need and purpose of TTC-35
    · Get information on what happens next
    · Participate in the decision-making process

For special accommodations at the hearing, call toll-free at
    1-888-TRANS-TX (1-877-872-6789).

Also, in 2001 the State of Texas altered it's Constitution so it could punch this plan through. Read how they sold us a bill of goods.

“What is the purpose of the Texas Mobility Fund? (2001)
This new source of money is intended to fund more transportation improvements. The fund supplements the state’s traditional pay-as-you-go method of financing highway projects, which cannot meet our growing need to reduce congestion in Texas. It allows the state to issue bonds so the construction of congestion-reducing projects can be accelerated. Since this will be a new source of funding, it will increase the state’s revenues for building critically needed transportation projects.”

We are going to pay for the Mexico Highway out of State funds and tolls!!!!!!!!!!!!

too bad for them, they couldn't amend the Constitution for the United States and an agreement with a foreign power by any state is prohibited under the Constitution
