Looks like everyone on the list is at the puplic trough and will be getting paid while on this important fact finding trip. It heartens me to see overoverworked tireless puplic servents give of themselves to enrich the lives of illegal aliens.Free healthcare, jobs, lawyers, education,food stamps,section 8 housing, please find more unearned and undeserved needs for our valued guests and if you need a tax increase, make it an
increase on the state income tax Whey burden our Mexican guests to pay any share.

Matty Lazo-Chadderton is on the state taxpayer payroll as Marc Basnight's (President of the NC Senate) employee. We need details on these 'Grants' that are paying for this trip ASAP.

These trips are privately funded by foundation and corporately funded grants. This program is part of the "Latino Initiative" thru the Center for International Understanding.

Established in 1979 by Governor and Mrs. James B. Hunt, Jr., the office became known as the North Carolina Center for International Understanding (NCCIU) in 1988. Its programs, which address North Carolina challenges through international experiential education, include the following: Programs for K-12 Educators, Citizen Exchanges, Latino Initiative, Professional Exchanges.

WHEN: September 26 - October 2, 2006

WH0: Randolph and Guilford County policy leaders

PURPOSE: To provide leaders from Randolph and Guilford Counties with resources and information to create practical solutions for successfully incorporating immigrants into their communities.

COMMITMENT: Study in North Carolina (1 day); Study Program in Mexico (one week); Planning for Change workshop in NC (1 day); Reporting on Implementation of Action Plans (1/2 day). Each team must create an action plan for developing lessons learned, presenting them to a wide circle of colleagues, and applying them to effect appropriate change within participants’ organizations.

COST: $3,800 per person. Includes workshops in NC and study program in Mexico (airfare, meals, hotels, speakers, ground transportation, interpreters, & more)

WHO'S ELIGIBLE TO APPLY: Participants will be selected by their county’s steering committee.

Took a look at the Center for International Understanding website. The statistics there just blew me away! One particular country has experienced over 1,200% increase in its Hispanic/Latino population from 1990-2000! The statistics for new enrollment in the schools are also astronomical! You have to know this is the result of illegal immigration.

What in the world is going on in North Carolina? You people who live in North Carolina had better take emergency action before it is too late. You have your own home grown enablers there who are throwing out the welcome mat.
