The reaction to my idea for "A Day Without Americans" has been overwhelmingly positive and strong.

I have a feeling, based on my own sense of outrage among dedicated, hard-working, loyal, taxpaying, honest U.S. citizens, that most Americans are fed up with illegal aliens – and their new inclination to demonstrate a sense of entitlement is only making matters worse.

It's one thing to sneak into this country in search of a better way of life.

It's one thing to take up permanent residency and start dropping anchor babies.

It's one thing to take advantage of America's education system, its hospital care, it's Social Security system and its generous welfare system.

It's one thing to be part of a wave of unwanted and unwelcome and unauthorized immigration that is changing the very character of our English-speaking country.

It's one thing to be part of a population shift that has made it easy for drug dealers, criminals and terrorists to hide behind the skirts of ordinary civilians.

It's another thing, though, to act like you are doing your host country a favor by being here.

It's another thing to insult those hosts who have been so patient with you, so tolerant, so accommodating.

It's another thing to fly the American flag upside down and to hoist the Mexican flag above it.

It's another thing entirely when you start saying that you have more rights in this country than do American citizens.

And those have been the messages American citizens have been getting from these massive rallies in Los Angeles and Chicago.


Suffice it to say the illegals and their supporters are doing more to harm their cause – and alienating themselves from mainstream America – than anything the Minutemen have ever done.

Now they are threatening to hold "A Day Without Latinos."

They might be very surprised to find out how many Americans would be delighted to have at least one day without Latinos – especially without the illegal alien variety of Latinos.

In fact, Americans are pretty sick and tired of all groups who label themselves as anything but Americans – all the while insinuating themselves into our lives and our pocketbooks.

I think Americans will be grateful when May 1 comes along and we have a day without illegal aliens. I don't think the American economy will skip a beat. I don't think any Americans will lose a wink of sleep. Do you know of anyone – with the possible exception of Archer Daniels Midland Corp. – who is honestly worried about a day without illegal aliens in America?

I don't know about you, but I could get used to such days. I'd like to sign up for more. I think that will be the attitude of most Americans as May 1 comes along – especially if those illegal aliens are out in the streets calling the rest of us racists, bigots and imperialists, again.



I don't really have a beef with Mexican peasants who try to make a way for their family by escaping the horrific conditions of exploitation and poverty that exist for them south of the border. But I do have a beef with George Bush, the U.S. Congress, the Ford Foundation, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Carnegie Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, George Soros, MALDEF, LULAC, La Raza, MEChA and the rest of the pukes trying to override the rule of law and the will of the people in my country.

So, while the activists are running "A Day Without Latinos" up their Mexican flagpole, I'm running my own idea up the U.S. flagpole.

Consider "A Day Without Americans."

I don't know exactly what it means. I don't know exactly when it is. I don't know exactly what we do or don't do. But consider the power.

Maybe it's July 4.

Maybe it's Election Day.

Maybe it's right around the corner on April 15.

All I know is that it's time for real Americans to stand up for freedom, self-government, the Constitution, independence, self-reliance, sovereignty, God and country.

We had better start planning our own day of reckoning.

I think you are on to something!!!! If something is not done by all of us RIGHT NOW, our children will not know what freedom and love of our country is!

In my town, NO ONE has a clue about what is really going on. Everyone I have told is shocked!! Why is this not on the news? We as Americans need to stand up and be heard!!! We can't be afraid of being called a racist or not politically correct. Our government and everyone else needs to see that we are proud of our country and ready to fight for the land that is know as the United States of America!!

The Mexican people that are wanting to be Americans are not the people that are committing the crimes. It is the illegal immigrants that want to change the borders and make this land part of Mexico that are hurting us, and our government is handing it to them on a silver platter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I whole heartly support an American rally!!!!!!!! I think April 15 would be appropriate. Signs that read- "without my taxes, who would support the illegals?" We HAVE to do something to show our government that we DO NOT- I MEAN DO NOT support amnesty! Send them home and make them come back leaglly! What nest, will they realease all the crminals from the jails because there is no way of punishing them? Come on, guys we HAVE to fight this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought April 17th had already been chosen as the day without AMERICANS??

I'm prepared for that date and have sent emails out to all on my list asking them to support the 17th as our protest day.

Yes I heard that April 17th was designated as a "Day Without Americans" and that is what I have told my family and friends as well. This day is before their planned day which would give us the advantage to show our force of numbers which is much larger than the illegals impact would be.

Getting the word out on this has been a bit of a problem. Everyone should contact their local newspapers, tv stations, radio stations, in addition to everyone in their address book. For this to work, it has to be widespread!! I found the guts of the notice below on another post on another site, then I modified it a bit. Feel free to make your own changes. It's the closest thing I've seen to a flyer. If we all take 10 minutes to spread the word I think we can make it happen.

A DAY WITHOUT AMERICANS

When: Monday, April 17th - this year's official last day for tax returns

Why: Illegals and their supporters are planning to bless America with a "Day without (illegal) Mexicans" on May 1st! So what are Americans doing in counterprotest? Staying home on Monday, April 17th!!!

What: Americans, please pass the message via other forums, e-mails, MySpace, flyers, postings, word-of-mouth, etc....

Students are requested to stay home from school (if possible without receiving a bad grade).

American workers are requested to stay home from work!!! (Use a sick day or vacation day!!)

Americans are requested to not purchase any goods or products, including fuel. (Unless there is an emergency.)

Americans are expected to sell any stocks and not purchase new stocks! Americans are requested to take thier money out of illegal supporting banks like Wells Fargo, Citibank and Bank of America. Then hold onto your cash until Tuesday where Americans can deposit money at a credit union or American supporting banks!!

Americans are requested to stay home and call and write thier politicians in protest!!

Americans are also requested to fly their American flags at home, on their vehicles and on their person.

April 17th is a day for Americans to feel proud of their country and realize that it is AMERICANS that are in control!!!! Legal Americans still outnumber illegals and their supporters!!! Americans are the voters and the taxpayers!!

A Day Without Illegals will have very little impact! But a DAY WITHOUT AMERICANS will prove that the country can NOT survive without it's legal citizens. For this to work ALL AMERICANS must participate!!!!! Announce this day on radio programs!! PASS THE WORD!!!! Americans MUST stay home and NOT spend money on APRIL 17TH!!
