NPR:Latinos and drunk driving
I meant to post this when it was first aired last July, however the story is still very current, and should be a wake-up call to those living in areas invaded by Hispanics. According to NPR's Morning Edition (hardly a purveyor of right-wing thinking) Latinos commit more than their share of drunk-driving violations. In the story, Latino men say that a man isn't a man if he can't drive when he's had too much to drink.
We're grateful, of course, for the enrichment of our culture by such progressive ideals.

This from our collection of frontpage articles:
Immigration activists and police say that North Carolina has a growing problem with noncitizens who drink and drive, many of them illegal immigrants from parts of Latin America where DWI is taken less seriously. Published reports suggest Hispanic drivers account for nearly 20 percent of DWI arrests in North Carolina, though only 6 percent of state residents are of Hispanic lineage.
"OK, it's a cultural thing to come from a country that has 5 percent the number of cars as the U.S. and where DWI is tolerated as no big deal," said Randy Jones, of the Alamance County Sheriff's Department.
"That doesn't mean that in this country we have to subject our citizens and everybody else to the damage that comes from this," said Jones, whose department is a leader in fighting crime tied to illegal immigration.Unemployment is not working. Sounds like the illegal alien advocates care about this
as a PR issue. A lot of talk about cultural differences,
kum ba yah, blah, blah, but not one apology for the
people killed by illegals. Not one. Only our friend
Sue Myrick hanging it out there. Go Sue!
Adam Hochberg sounds like he would choke if he said
'illegal' instead of undocumented. I suppose we should
be amazed they did the piece at all or they think only
people who don't care listen.
