Couple Arrested On Identity Theft Charges
Police Say They Also Found Meth Lab In Couple's Home

RENO, Nev. -- A Reno couple have been arrested on suspicion of identity theft after a search of their home.

Police said Richard Narra, 35, and Christine Alpert, 29, were booked Thursday into the Washoe County Jail on a variety of charges.

According to investigators, the search of the Brightridge Drive home turned up numerous computers and items related to the making of counterfeit checks, Nevada driver's licenses and identification cards.

Police said they found a loaded handgun, ammunition and a methamphetamine laboratory during the search.
