Latino Workers, Activists Want Driving Card Bill Passed

MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - The Senate Assembly parlor was overflowing with Latino workers and activists at a lobbying rally this week. They’re launching a new push to pass a bill granting a driving certificate to undocumented workers. Such a bill was originally included in last year's budget, but dropped at the last minute. Dairy farmers in the state are joining the effort to guarantee driving rights to the increasing number of Latino immigrants working on Wisconsin Dairy farms. The driving card bill has strong support from police departments across the state but in order for it to pass it must overcome strong opposition from politicians and citizens worried about an increasing influx of undocumented workers, who may be displacing citizens and legal immigrants in need of jobs.

The ONLY way I'd be ok with those cards is if the cards will be proof of illegal status and if the illegal is pulled over it's automatic deportation. No get out of jail free card, no hearings, no nothing...GET OUT!

Of course they won't agree to that so the answer is HELL NO!!!

If they were neither US citizens or lawful permanent residents they are not legal constituents, and should not be listened to.
