After identifying themselves as police officers and handcuffing the drug dealers, the thieves interrogated and frequently tortured their captives, beating them, dunking their heads under water and threatening sexual mutilation, documents filed with the indictment in Federal District Court in Brooklyn said. The men stole about $4 million and 750 kilograms of cocaine, prosecutors said. The police seized more than 20 guns, prosecutors said.

I heard of it happening in Ann Arbor several years ago. I don't think anything serious happened. The individual was probably mentally ill and had to undergo psychiatric treatment.

And, by the way, just to add a note, individuals like this are not as common when they have good paying manufacturing jobs they can work at. Now that we treat American workers as "disposable people" we have all sorts of lost souls wandering around causing trouble.

Why bother with the American middle man when you now have a direct route and an area to control? They don't like competition.

It was only a matter of time before the Mexican Mafia brought these types of tactics that are common in Mexico and Central America to the United States.
I was only wondering why it took so long.
