Immigration Update: Senate Release of Bill Delayed

Senator Charles Schumer (D-New York), chair of the Senate Judiciary Immigration Subcommittee, will delay release of his bill to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws, indicating this week he hopes to draw more bipartisan support in the interim while healthcare legislation remains on the hot seat.

The Senate is expected to act before the House on immigration legislation, with the expectation that President Obama would sign a bill by spring.

Must be prepared to do battle, peacefully.

The longer they put it off the better it is for us. But, as we already know we can't believe anything they say so we can't just sit back and wait.
