"Mexico is a great democracy, vibrant, with a growing economy," Obama told the newspaper. "And as a result, what is happening there can't be compared with what happened in Colombia 20 years ago."
You know...I'm doing everything in my power to give this comment some sort of legitimacy and connection to reality, but I have not been able to do so. Honestly, this statement is quite troubling and in my opinion, it shows that obama has a distorted sense of reality, or he’s just completely removed from the truth.

Either way, not good…But I would ask obama this: If mexico's economy is so vibrant and growing, shrouded in such a great democracy, why do millions of mexican citizens feel compelled to enter our country in violation of our immigration laws?

What we really have here is that in a moment of clarity, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton let her guard down and allowed the truth to come out. Too bad their cannot be more moments like this from our politicians.
