The next time one of you is sick enough to need the emergency room, tell them you don't have insurance so you can see what others face. I know from experience...
That doesn't make sense. The law states that all people are to get medical care if you come into the emergency room. The illegals get it.
Gogo, I apologize for not being more direct. When a person without insurance goes to an emergency room, they(I) feel ashamed when asked for insurance. If you have insurance and say you don't, you may not feel the shame others feel, because you know the truth -that's why I said you would see what others face, not feel. Many of these folks have full time jobs, but don't have insurance. These companies will pay their top people millions of dollars, while not providing coverage for the 50 or more employees they have.
If you look at my posts you will notice noone here tries to dispute my argument about health insurance, yet many of them seem to prefer McCain over Obama. Why?
I think if you look at England, Germany and Canada federal health care systems they are absolute failures. I lived in Germany for a year. Our landlord worked for hospital. Despite that it took him six-nine months to get needed surgery. David Asman of Fox News was traveling in Europe with his wife when she became extremely ill. The hospitals in England, as he described, were whoafully inadequate. He said, they were so happy when she finally stablized enough to get her to a hospital in the USA. Nationalized health care is not the answer. The government always says it can take of things better than the private sector but that is just not true. It was suppose to take me six weeks to get a passport. It took months. They are inefficient and many government systems are corrupt. Medi-care for one is paying our millions in one state to fraudulent claims. That is your tax money. Something needs to be done, but not what Hillary or Obama wants.

The Bush Admin. took over control of many banks and bailed out many financial institutions. This too, is socialism. In a "free market", the govt. would not have asisted with financial support of these companies.
I'm not saying it was right or wrong, merely pointing out the present admin. nationalized the banking industry.
