The president elect, Barack Obama, said that his government will revise immigration raids, because he wants to be sure that their policies work "in a humane way".
Nevertheless, Obama did not clarify if his government will suspend this type of operation, according to the second part of an interview with the elected leader, emitted this Tuesday by Univision.
The president elect indicated that he will instruct the governor of Arizona, Janet Neapolitano, selected to direct the Department of Homeland Security, to review "what has been successful and what hasn't been successful".
"I want to assure that we are going to operate in a way consistent with our values, in a humane way because I do not want to see mothers separated from their children due to un-sensible policies" which are not the solution to the problem of illegal immigration, he affirmed.
