With Neighbors Like Mexico, Who Needs Enemies?

As we speak, Mexico is falling further and further into anarchy and civil war born of drugs, violence and chaos.

Unfortunately, rather than reforming the political and economic policies that make our southern neighbor a failed state, the elitist socialists who govern Mexico choose to blame America for their problems.

In a stark reminder of just how foolish Mexican leaders can be, President Felipe Calderon made the following inane statements as reported, in part, at Reuters:

“Mexico will cooperate with the United States in sharing intelligence to fight drug trafficking but does not plan joint patrols with U.S. forces, President Felipe Calderon said Monday.

‘We do have to work together but that does not imply the joint participation in military operations or even a joint participation of law enforcement agents,â€

Let's think about Mexico's gun problem. So illegals from the Latino world are roaming all over our country. With strong support in 230 of cities, we now know how drug cartels are getting guns.. They are probably flying them out of private airports. And why not?

Right!!

And, any bets that the vast majority of that weaponry......especially the really serious stuff not available at the local gun shop.......is coming IN the same way, as well as in through our ports, from countries OTHER than this one?
