    Officials: 46 Cuban migrants reach Hollywood, Florida

    Associated Press - March 29, 2008 8:23 PM ET

    HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say 46 migrants from Cuba have landed ashore in Hollywood, Florida, and will be allowed to remain in the United States.

    Smugglers brought the migrants to Hollywood, a community more than 20 miles north of Miami. They landed ashore early today.

    They will be released once they have been interviewed.

    Under U.S. "wet-foot,dry-foot" policy, Cubans who reach land are allowed to stay in the United States; those captured at sea are returned to the island.

    what they fail to tell you is the 10,000.00 per Cuban that they are given right off of the bat curtsy of the federal government for they're new life in America
