New Secret Weapon To Battle Illegal Immigration

    LAST UPDATE: 12/7/2006 6:47:13 PM

    Video

The war against illegal immigration in one local county is heating up with the addition of a new, and very secret weapon. When it comes to the battle against illegal immigration in the Tri-State, the Butler County Sheriff is something of a pace setter.

Now, Sheriff Richard Jones has taken yet another step in his effort to get control over what he believes to be a significant issue in his community.

In a story seen only on Local 12, Reporter Rich Jaffe introduces us to the sheriff's new secret weapon.

    We'll call him "Jose".

We can't show you his face, or even use his real voice.

A few weeks ago, retiring after nearly thirty years with border patrol and immigration, in a matter of days he began a new job with the Butler County Sheriff... working undercover to infiltrate businesses that hire illegal immigrants.
Voice of "Jose", Undercover Immigration Specialist: "I'm finding out that a lot of the larger businesses in Butler County are utilizing staffing agencies, that way they kind of insulate themselves as far as liability is concerned, they don't have to worry about any paperwork..."

Having arrested agents, worked counter terrorism, and spent many years undercover, Jose's special skills will help the sheriff's investigations go places they've never gone before, into the very fabric of the Hispanic population. Hispanic himself, he understands the issues.

"As far as sympathizing with these people, obviously I do, and I run into situations where you've got 14 year olds working in factories and the employer is basically turning his head, and it boils down to that profit margin."

While these somewhat famous signs at the Sheriff's Office say 'illegals here'... the sheriff says the real message of his efforts is quite the opposite.

Richard Jones, Butler County Sheriff: "Our goal is to the illegals don't come here, you're not welcome. If you come here illegally this is one law enforcement official that doesn't want you here."

"And the public has this much sympathy for you, the business person who hires this person, you're breaking down our economy, our nation of laws...I would be very satisfied if you went to prison for the first time you hire illegals or you go to jail."

And if the sheriff, along with his new man in the shadows, have their way, that's exactly what's going to happen...

    Rich Jaffe, Local 12.

'Jose' tells us he's already been inside about 20 different Butler County businesses.

Besides working undercover, he'll be helping debrief Hispanic suspects taken into custody, and especially concentrate on Hispanics who are already convicted felons.

This sounds like an article I read when the news first broke about Butler County, Ohio, which was shortly after Hazleton,Pa.
    But it says "updated" 12/07/06.

There is a whole specialty for Private Investgation desribed here. Before too long Butler County's businesses will begin to recognize Jose. In order to keep the system effective it would require a rotation of the Hispanic officers. There could be a national Hispanic PI firm with this a their own business model.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
