Hit-and-run victim, 6, leaves hospital
A 6-year-old boy was released from a hospital four days after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in southwest Oklahoma City, a hospital spokeswoman said Friday.
Orlando Carrion was released Thursday from the Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Orlando was taken in critical condition Monday to the hospital after the accident, police Sgt. Paco Balderrama said.

Police said Orlando was hit by a car driven by Gustavo Aldolfo, 26, while Orlando rode his bicycle about 10 a.m. Monday on SW 30 near Shartel. Aldolfo is also accused of driving off after hitting the bicycle, dragging it behind the car.

By 3 p.m. Monday police had arrested Aldolfo at his apartment complex near SW 44 and Pennsylvania, Balderrama said.

Aldolfo was being held Friday night at the Oklahoma County jail in lieu of $8,000 bail on complaints of leaving the scene of an injury accident, having no driver's license, having no insurance and giving false information, according to jail records.

Aldolfo is an illegal immigrant and will face deportation proceedings when released from state custody, federal officials said.
