OK: Immigration bill lawsuit dismissed

TULSA — A lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of an immigration reform law set to go into effect Nov. 1 was thrown out of a Tulsa federal court today.
The lawsuit, which was filed by The National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders Oct. 15, was dismissed by District Judge James H. Payne, who cited a lack of a plaintiff "that has actually been injured by the challenged law,â€Immigration reform should reflect a commitment to enforcement, not reward those who blatantly break the rules. - Rep Dan Boren D-Ok

I think I remember seeing these guys on Lou Dobbs? They seemed very confident that they could win and stop legislation hurting illegal immigrants in it's tracks. I believe they said it would be a test case for other states.

This thing will probably be filed over and over under different theories until they get a judge that will agree with them; but every dismissal is a base hit for our side.
A home run will be when a judge hears a case on the merits and then dismisses it.

Well .. the federal government may be the only entity that can establish federal immigration law for the nation .. but every state, county and municipality has not only the right but the duty to not only abide federal law but to enforce federal law.
Which means to be compliant, every state, county and municipality has not only the right but the duty to pass local and state laws that ensure federal law is not violated within their jurisdiction.
Oh yes indeedy!
Only traitors would think otherwise, eh?
