WINDSOR, Ontario (AP) - An Ontario man is facing drug charges in Detroit after U.S. customs officers found almost 145 pounds of marijuana in a truck at the Ambassador Bridge.
Authorities say the 25-year-old suspect was driving a cab without a trailer when it was searched about 2:30 yesterday morning.
U.S. customs official Ron Smith says a search turned up a duffel bag containing marijuana. Officers then used a gamma-ray machine to scan the cab, and a further inspection found two more duffel bags full of pot.
