Arizona's tough new immigration law is getting plenty of attention from around the country and three polls out this week attempt to quantify the opinions surrounding it and immigration.

In a poll released today, California voters appear evenly divided regarding Arizona's tough new immigration law.

The Field Poll, an independent and non-partisan survey of public opinion, shows that 49 percent of California's registered voters approve of the law while 45 percent are against it.

For a detailed look at the poll numbers, go to the Field Research Corporation.

Earlier this week, a Rasmussen Reports poll showed that the nation's "Political Class" embarrasses the nation's voters more than how Arizona deals with illegal immigration. The survey did not define the term "Political Class."

Finally, Public Policy Polling reports that Hispanic voters have reacted favorably to Obama's increased attention to immigration issues.
