let me say I have no problem with pro bono work by attorneys- but if you are poor in Oregon - the focus in now on helping Latinos and illegals not the legal poor in this state[/b]-

this is the group that is bringing the issue to the forefront in oregon.
It seems to me ,in my short research that the illegal population has many very focused activists among them- they get the backing of the media- and many times the government.
so the more legal oregonians that can get informed and involved the better-

In my research of our Comrade from NewComm I noticed alot of "social justice" and other "progressive" groups from Oregon and Washington. Maybe it has something to do with the salt air from the Pacific.
