Over 200 arrested in east Valley crime crackdown

Several police agencies joined forces to get criminals off east Valley streets in a two-week operation.

Mesa police detective Diana Tapia said "Operation City Limits," targeting violent gang members, was very successful.

"It resulted in over 200 arrests, 205 to be exact, including $10,000 in cash and over $100,000 dollars in property that was seized," she said.
