A Department of Public Safety officer conducted a traffic stop of a sedan going westbound on Interstate 10, approximately 16 miles east of Tucson, for a traffic violation just before midnight.

The officer reportedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 10 bales of marijuana weighing approximately 225 pounds, according to the report.
